Dwarka is not so much a place of historical or religious importance. It is a living city, and the question this research asks is a simple one: How does that ancient story continue to influence the way people live here today? The study conceptualizes the perpetuation of the legend as a divine echo, a story that is so ingrained in the social life of the city that it no longer needs to be consciously perpetuated
