Bhojon Bilash: The Culinary Chronicles of Kolkata's Cabins, AY 2023-24

A cabin is usually associated with a small wooden shelter or private room. However, the people of Kolkata add their blend of spices to how they perceive cabins. The cabins in Kolkata are restaurant-styled, cabin booths in which guests may privately enjoy their meals. This study aims to identify the gap which exists in the study of cabins in Kolkata and their recognition as a dying or diminishing cultural trend. In fact, cabins are a symptom of colonial or oxidant influence on Indian culture.
