This paper focuses on wrestling in Kolhapur, also otherwise known as kushti in India.This research spreads across topics such as the history and origin of wrestling, how wrestling came about in Kolhapur and the current situation of wrestling in the city pre and post the pandemic. Along with this, we look at the challenges that the wrestlers face and their approach towards overcoming them.
