Agarbatti industry is one of the labour-intensive cottage-based industries in India, which has significantly grown during the two years of the pandemic. A new alternative usage amongst the new generation for aromatherapy and meditation has made it a fast-moving consumer good (FMCG). Agarbatti Industry is becoming "Atama-Nirbhar" by sourcing its raw materials locally and being a supportive employer of women.
