Scope and Contents
This project studied unique art form of Chavittu Nadakam from Kerala. It attempts to explore the thematic and technical aspects of this dance-drama and also study the transition it has undergone from its inception to present-day. Particularly, elements of choreography with a focus on footwork, influence of mixed cultures on make-up and costumes, and finally, history of the origination of the art form.
